Hawker Park Early Childhood promotes a play-based learning environment that encourages independence and creative thinking. Through the awe and wonder of learning children will explore concepts and create lifelong friendships.

Apply to enrol your child/ren at Hawker Park Primary School (K – Yr.6) by downloading a copy of the application form in the link below or alternatively come to the front office of Hawker Park Primary School to collect.

Please submit your application for enrolment to the school with copies of your childs;

  • Birth Certificate
  • Australian Immunisation register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement
  • Proof of Address
  • Copies of Family Court or any other court orders (if applicable)

If your child was not born in Australia, you must also provide these documents as evidence:

  • Date of entry in Australia
  • Passport of travel documents
  • Current visa subclass and previous visa subclass (if applicable)

Resident in the Local Intake Area

The School Education Act 1999 guarantees a place for every child in the compulsory years of schooling, Pre Primary to Year 6, in their local school. Hawker Park Primary is designated as a Local Intake School. The school has places for students in years PP-6 who currently reside within the boundaries of our local intake area as have been determined by the Department of Education. (See Boundary Map)

 

Eligibility for Enrolment- Kindergarten

Applications for Enrolment in Kindergarten according to the following criterion:
  1. Child residing in the local-intake area who has a sibling also enrolled at the school in the current year, and who lives nearest the school.
  1. Child in the local-intake area who does not have a sibling enrolled at the school in the current year, and who lives nearest the school.
  1. Child not residing in the local-intake area who has a sibling also enrolled at the school in the current year, and who lives nearest the school.
  1. Child not residing in the local-intake area who does not have a sibling enrolled at the school in the current year, and who lives nearest the school.

The Hawker Park Primary School Council has endorsed the schedule of Voluntary Contributions and Charges for 2025.

  • Navy blue and gold polo-neck t-shirt with school logo on left breast
  • Faction shirt with faction name printed under logo
  • School or navy blue shorts, skirts, skorts, track pants or trousers.  No jeans.
  • Hawker Park Primary School blue-check dress (as shown in display book)
  • School windcheater with school logo on left breast.
  • Closed flat shoes and suitable flat sandals with ankle support
  • School hat

PURCHASING UNIFORMS

  • School uniforms are available from the uniform shop, through the P&C Uniform Co-ordinator, located in TA10 on Fridays 8:00am-8:30am and afternoons between 2.30 and 3.00. Since COVID-19, by appointment.
  • New and used uniforms are available
