FROM DR ROBERTS
I sincerely thank all our wonderful parents and carers who model Respect, Kindness and Manners while on the school grounds. These are our values which we encourage and teach students to practise while at school. Our staff also model our values to students, parents and each other.
For your information, last Friday was our School Census which leads to funding based on the number of students enrolled on the day. We should receive funding before the end of the term.
We look forward to our first assembly for the year tomorrow morning led by the Year 6 students. We aim to start our assemblies promptly at 8:30 and finish at 9:00 as we are very conscious many parents and carers then go to work. In anticipation, I thank you for making the time to support your children through your attendance.
Just a little reminder, we ask children to arrive at school at approximately 8:15. When they arrive, we expect students to calmly wait for doors to open at 8:20 for years 1-6. Students need to come to school ‘make-up’ free and jewellery free with the exception of watches and/or small earrings if parents allow these.
Thank you to all those who abide by this request already.
