FROM DR. ROBERTS
We are already in week four of a nine-week term and generally, students have settled back into school in a very responsible manner. We thank parents for helping their children with this process.
We would like to offer various workshops for parents throughout the year with our first on Thursday 25 February (tomorrow night) at 7:00 pm. The workshop is called “Get to Know Your Laptop” and will be presented by Mr Nigel Kirkby and Mr Andrew Etheridge. More information will follow.
We hope the remainder of the term is mask-free!
This year we will be having our Parent Interviews on the last Monday of term one, 29 March. The school will close from 12:00pm. More information will be coming home via classroom teachers.
For those new to the school, basically, parents have the opportunity of selecting a ten-minute time-slot to speak to the classroom teacher who will discuss how your child has been progressing in term one. We will request to know who will be collecting your child or how your child intends to go home.
Where a child cannot be collected, supervision will be provided by the school.

Welcome back parents, teachers, and children to Hawker Park for 2021.
Wow what a start it has been; I trust that you are all well.
I am so happy to be back at Hawker park this year, it’s great to see all the smiling faces as I walk around the school, what a resilient community we have!
I am at school on Thursdays and Fridays this year, please call, pop in or let the office know if there is anything I can do for you and I will do my best to help where I can.
Have a wonderful week,
