FROM DR. ROBERTS
Last week and this week, our students undertook and are undertaking swimming lessons and appear to be enjoying them. A huge thank you to parents for preparing children for their lessons, staff for accompanying students and Mr Etheridge for re-organising lesson times after they had been already organised, due to a lack of swimming teachers.
Next week, the year 6 students together with Mr Etheridge, will be attending camp from Wednesday to Friday. On behalf of the school community, we wish them well and hope the weather remains fine.

This does not apply to our current Year 6 students. Please reply to hawkerpark.ps@education.wa.edu.au.
DR ALY CHRISTMAS CARD COMPETITION – TA3
Last term Dr Anne Aly advertised a Christmas Card Competition that she was running. TA3 decided that they would enter this, so they drew their pictures and Mrs Everall dropped them off. Patiently the students have been waiting to hear but time was ticking on…….
Yesterday we got the call!!! A massive congratulations to Scarlett who was the winner of the Christmas Card Competition. Her amazing picture will be on Christmas Cards in the post around 6 December. We are super proud.

ZIG ZAGS
There’s no place like a (new) home and we can’t wait to give you a tour of the new room when we relocate in 2022.
As Hawker Park Primary School has increased numbers for 2022, we will be moving to the Art room next to the Music Room. This will be closer to the undercover area for us and we will continue to be able to make use of the playgrounds on school grounds.
The relocation will take place over the summer holidays as we commence from Monday 31 January 2022 in the new room.
Amanda Lakeman and her team will continue to be at Zig Zags OSHC Hawker Park to assist the children with the relocation.
Please note as well, we escort children up to and including year 2 therefore children from Year 3 and above to please be aware of the new location on school grounds.
Please don’t hesitate to call/email if you have any questions.
Kind regards,
Lorraine Ablett
