FROM DR ROBERTS
What an amazing year we have nearly completed. The end of year graduation and concerts we had last Friday and Monday were a huge success. CONGRATULATIONS to everyone! Every parent I spoke to has given positive feedback and praise. Thank you all.
All our students deserve acknowledgement as they have worked extremely hard. We are very proud of their positive attitude, responsible behaviour and academic achievements.
Our School Board and P&C have worked tirelessly during the year – thank you all.
In addition to normal teaching and learning, this year staff have been involved in our External Review which was outstanding and overseeing our new building – Hawker Hub. Staff must be congratulated and highly commended for their unquestionable professionalism that never wavers. Without a doubt, and I hope you will agree, staff at this school are truly and simply the best. We thank each staff member for his or her commitment and contributions.
On behalf of staff, thank you parents for the well wishes, food, chocolates, flowers and other gifts provided to our fabulous staff members. We appreciate your acknowledgement.
I take this opportunity in wishing you all a happy, holy and safe Christmas and the very best for 2022.

GRADUATION
What a wonderful and heartfelt Graduation Ceremony. Hawker Park PS wishes every one of our 2021 graduating students the very best in their future endeavours.
“The Year 6 Graduation was held on Friday the 10th of December for our Year 6 students. The ceremony was elegant, and everyone dressed formally. There were special guests, teachers, students and the class of 2021.
Our awards winners were pleasantly surprised on receiving their awards. Alicia received the DUX and Indonesian Award, Vayda received the Citizenship Award, Charlie received the Endeavour Award and Siah received the Perseverance Award.
The graduation song Colours was incredible.
After the morning tea at TA9, the Year 6s went to Lazer Tag and competed against each other. They enjoyed lunch at Dome as a final Graduation treat.
The day finished with the walk back to school just before the siren. A very fun day indeed!” – Alicia –
